About Alexia

Alexia Gonzalez is a bilingual media personality, author, communications specialist, and content creator with a lifelong passion for storytelling. She began her career in Spanish-language television and entertainment as a teenager, appearing in talk shows, commercials, television series, and soap operas before expanding into music, broadcast media, and public relations.

After earning her Master’s degree in Communication Studies from Florida State University, Alexia built a career spanning lifestyle PR, television, radio, digital content, and brand partnerships. Today, she is the midday host on Magic 94.9 Tampa Bay, a lifestyle and travel content creator, and the co-author of Secret Florida: A Guide to the Weird, Wonderful, and Obscure, hitting shelves September 30, 2026.

Through her work on-air and online, Alexia shares the people, places, food, travel, and experiences that make Florida worth exploring.
